If it's off any N12 Nissan, and the cap has 2 screws, it can be fitted to a Mini. (If the cap has clips the dizzy is an old one with points, bin it)
See my 2 Pulsar dizzy threads at top of this forum.

All the Pulsar N12 ones I've seen here are D4R83 or D4R85.
I just got an 85 off `convertible mini', Tony still has some 85s left if anybody is after one.

That body looks a bit different up top to the 83 and 85.
However, Marcel Chichak in Canada was the first to mod these, he used the D4R81 they got.
If it's not got points, it should work OK.
Got a pic from the top??

I don't think it has point, I'm at work at the minute ill try and get a photo tonight.

It has a spine drive at the bottom and can u still put a cog on it, I didn't see any pin holes though

N12s all had a slot in the end of the shaft and a plain round sleeve on the shaft with a 3mm? pin through it.
Measure the distance from the flange down to the end of the alloy body, and I'll compare it to an 85.
I can't see a spline in that pic- can you also measure the OD of the shaft there?

The shaft is 18mm long from the base of the housing and 12mm diameter,

That drive end looks same as a Pulsar one.
Mini drive dog slides on, then put a 3/16" drill through the shaft.
If there's no hole there no problem, the shaft isn't hardened.
You do need a little endfloat when assembled, read my Pulsar dizzy thread at top of this forum ^^

well i decided to take the button and cover off the dizzy to find that its a crank angle sensor

i looked around on the net and found a wiring diagram so it needs to be pluged in to a ecu, but it would work pretty well i guess as it would be easy to fit into the mini and it would also be adjustable.

Too damn complicated for an old fart like me...
I'll stick with the D4R83 and 85 thanks.

I wonder if it could be used just as a crank angle sensor for a Megajolt or similar? :?
