Do brand new bottom arm bushes need to be pressed onto the pin?
The inner sleeve seems too small for the pin.
I dont want to go hacking the pin or sleeve unnecessarily.

Im going to try warm water but i'm thinking that wont do much for the metal sleeve??

Are you sure you've got the sleeve from the old bushes off the pin? They do like to fuse themselves on pretty good...

i generally wire-buff the old pins (once the old sleeves have been removed)

& add a little copper coat before fitting

a G clamp will come in handy when you're putting it back together too

Have you got the right bushes? Early cars up to about 66 or 67 used a bush without sleaves. The arm itself is different.
