Do brand new bottom arm bushes need to be pressed onto the pin? The inner sleeve seems too small for the pin. I dont want to go hacking the pin or sleeve unnecessarily. Im going to try warm water but i'm thinking that wont do much for the metal sleeve?? |

Are you sure you've got the sleeve from the old bushes off the pin? They do like to fuse themselves on pretty good... |

i generally wire-buff the old pins (once the old sleeves have been removed) & add a little copper coat before fitting |

a G clamp will come in handy when you're putting it back together too |

Have you got the right bushes? Early cars up to about 66 or 67 used a bush without sleaves. The arm itself is different. |

Got a 69, my bush set is the one suited to adjustable suspension. |
