Does anyone run a Decomp plate on there mini's, for a turbo or supercharger and if you do did u require longer push rods. What is the comp ratio on most of these boosted applications? I would think 8:1 would be ideal, but is that the norm, or are people boosting standard engines.

Some people are running de-comp plates on some of the supercharger applications getting around and I don't think they have longer pushrods so valve train geometry is probably not ideal.
Copmression wise on same setups are from about 9:1 to 8:1 most are standard 1275 8.8:1 or 998 8.3:1

What boost do you plan on running... anything under 8psi I would say standard compression is fine.

If over 10psi... start thinking about de-compressing...

I would stay clear of decomp plates though, more places for things to go... 2 headgaskets, etc.

Pete.

i am running a de-comp plate on my 1360 supercharged.

This is due to an error where the pistons supplied to me were incorrect, and the engine builder didnt check them before sending them for assembly.

compression is supposed to be 8 to 1 with the decomp plate.

i am also running extra head studs and 1.5 roller rockers.
pushrods are standard.

i'd recommend do it properly, and take the cc's out of the pistons and the head.
