G'day Everyone, I'm going to be dropping in another motor hopefully this weekend, and this one has pot joints, and I currently have normal uni joints. I'm wondering, when changing the driveshafts to suit, do I have to change the entire shaft, or can I just change the ends over? Anto |

I think you have to change the whole drive shaft the uni joints had a bit where the shaft could telescope to become longer / shorter as the suspension moved the pot joints just moved inside to pot on the side of the diff so the drive shafts for pot joints are solid? correct me if I'm wrong

Inner spline is totally different, and shafts are different length too. You need the driveshaft swapped, but the CVs can stay if you knock them off the shafts. |
