Hey all,

Are honda or camira disk brake conversions easy to do .... actually i should ask are they any harder then converting mini drums into mini discs? are the studs the same size of the minis?

Oh dear! here we go........
Lucas, lest someone flames you first, do a search on Honda disc brakes on the forum and scan the 23 odd page thread elsewhere first. Fair question, but it's been covered before.

Regards
Kevin.

What he said.

I would PM nuclear_mini for details on the Camira kit, it's a couple of hundred$$, you supply Camira calipers, discs and maybe the `S' C/Vs.
IMO this kit is better and less drama than fitting the Honda ones, the C/Vs and drive flanges are stronger too. 8)

yes Lucas, a NON STANDARD brake conversion involves lot more work than a simple swap of standard Mini brakes. If you don't have access to a metal lathe and mill, or don't know how to use one, then you will be paying someone to machine your non standard parts......the cost will exceed the purchase of standard LS disc brakes.

That particular topic has been discussed thoroughly in a previous thread, you can't miss the thread, it's roughly 20 pages long!
