Hi, I have two cracks in my dashpad (the top part) and wondered if anyone had any hints to repair and recover the dashpad. I dont want the pad to be black and have no problem with trying my hand at vinyl work. I know I could go to a trimmers but cost is a major problem as my mini budget allows $100 a week and with that I am also re-stocking tools I need. I want to give this a good go but any advice is appreciated. Cheers |

Wouldnt have a clue as is from when I purchased the car. I have to make a new bit for the parcel shelf and have heaps of confidence with that as it can be done with vinyl and some wood. But the moulded dashpad is a whole new world. Might by some vinyl this weekend and give it a go. Be nice to have the front and back matching. |
