Post subject:  Redline 3005 Manifold

Guys, i have just been quoted by an agent for Redline up here $230.00 for the 3005 on overnight delivery.........

Now is that an inflated price? Also, what prices have you guys seen/paid for your 3005's???

Any input will be greatly appreciated 8) , mainly cos i will not pay that sort of money for that Manifold........

P.S - Does anyone have a pic of the reline 3005 for me?

Steve

the 3005 I believe is a common manafold for a mini. I think they are exactly the same as my Warneford:

If I were you I'd call Graham Russell and see if he has any of these. His ones flow better and wouldn't be very much more than the price you got quoted for the redline one (not much more = no more than double??)

68 Delux....... i'm not very good with the recognition of manifolds...... but, would you say that the manifold below is similar to yours????.... or is it the dreaded swan neck :(

That one IMO is not a gooseneck here is an example of a gooseneck

He would have had more chance selling it if just called it an inlet manifold for webber/dellorto :D

Nope not a gooseneck. Gooseneck is pretty much upright in the "neck" area.

These (3005's) flow well in stock form but you can get about 7-10 extra hp (depending on your engine's state of tune) by openning it up a little, hence why i said maybe talk to Graham Russel before spending money... Or do it yourself

Hint: I got my dellorto DHLA 45 with manifold and linkages for $165 from a mini parts place so shop around!!!

Steve that one is either a Redline or a Warneford, same thing. NOT a Gooseneck. I had a Lynx one once, side on the flow path was a Z...

Graham Russell makes a very good manifold for a DCOE, but no way will it fit (with filter) without major surgery and speedo relocation (roundnose).
Ive got one, still deciding what to do with it. :?

The Redline 3005 flows OK, bit small for a 45- but if you spend 9 hours inside it with a die grinder & carbide burrs, it flows better.. :P
