Post subject: | Rear wiring loom |
Hi: Thanks for the tip about Classic Wiring Looms - I am about to order from them. Is it possible to instal the rear loom without removing the headlining and C pillar cover? Sooner or later the headlining and pillar covers will be replaced, but I don't want to pull it out and do it yet. New wiring is a higher priority. I have in mind slowly pulling out the old loom with the new loom attached to the end to draw it through. Has anyone tried this? Do I pull it through from the back of the car or the front? I am guessing the front half of the rear loom will be thicker than the back half as it should slim down a bit once the interior light wires exit. Its a 1965 round nose body if that makes any difference. |

I only recently did mine and got the loom from the same place. Top quality, and everything is the original colour coding and numbered. ![]() ![]() |

What are the details for Classic Wiring Looms..?? Do you know if their looms allow for relay or fuse boxes? I dont think that this was standard in the 60s Minis but I have them in mine now, but having said that, every wire in my engine bay is red. ALL OF THEM. Needless to say doing anything to the electricals is a BIG job. ![]() |
