I just checked out my old radiator, ran some water through it and it's full of rusty water, and has a few holes in it from poor storage.

I was wondering if any of you have used radiators from other vehicles. Maybe even a motorcycle radiator? I have been checking out flea-bay, but nobody puts the dimensions for them. Any ideas on what might work?

I don't want to pay the money for another steel one, and aftermarket aluminum ones are REALLY spendy.

I would be looking at the turbo "intercooler" market - more likely to be able to get one the right shape and size perhaps - but then you said you didn't want to go done that path.
Good luck

Not to many Alfa's in the states :(

I'd still like pics though! I'm gonna head over to the motorcycle graveyard and see what I can find.

Morris/Austin 1100/1300 or Austin America radiator fits okay on a Clubman, but only just shoe-horns into a roundnose if you modify the top tank (eg: bash it with a hammer) to it clears the bonnet.

Probably not much help in teh USA, cos all the Austin Americas are probably gone by now. :(

im running a honda city turbo radiator in mine,, it was the smallest i could find in the wrecking yard,, smaller then a mini one. I have it front mounted with its original electric fan and car has never run hot, even with 200hp :D

mmm dont think there would be the real estate needed to front mount it on a roundie,, id say it would fit where the mini one sits,, can take your fan of the motor too, good for 1.4hp, enough to keep josh at bay :D

Hum.....more Honda parts :x , Being a VW man....it hurts me to actually enjoy searching for Honda crap.

Have you fit one before? I have a roundie too just so y'all know, and I like to keep it in the stock location. I just got my radiator shroud chromed, so I have to use it!
