John (Justfanginaround) Is helping with my project. You are more than welcome to come have a look if you like, at the moment the engine is dummy fitted to the car in order to get an idea of where things fit. I have a mini 1963 / 65 round nose. We had to modify the bonnet to accomodate the engines extra height, and we are still scratchin our heads trying to figure a way of doing the induction without destroying the look of the car. Specs are 1275 block bored out to 1390cc, running BMW 8V k100 head conversion (Mad Matts set up) , hoping to fuel inject it, running full Siemans VDO guages, KAD race brakes front and back, with 13x6 inch Yokohamma race rubber

At the moment the project is on hold due to lack of money

Conversion Kit $1,300 to 1,500 i think, not exactly sure

and still counting hehehe. It will be a wait before the car is opperational, however it should go like the clappers
I will have it on display as a static work in progress at the mini 50 show comming up
