The liberty was a 2.0L yeah?

Keeping in mind the motor is almost twice the capacity and the cylinder heads would flow a lot more than a mini head, I'd say that unless you want boost from ~5000 upwards... give it a miss

is the turbo driving the 1100 or the 1100 driving the turbo?

If it's the turbo off the 2L twin turbo B4 then i would imagine it to be quite a good fit for the 1100cc...

Do you have a compressor map or something - I think it's an IHI RHB5 turbo which is good for about 80-250hp - probably too big unless you want a pig of a car to drive.

Cheap turbos that work are the old school Garrett T2 ala Nissan etc - search for author "benjamin" or "pristic" to get an idea of what is making good power from intelligent Mini mods

I personally like the look of a GT17 off a Saab for a custom set-up on a small bore.
