Hi guys,

I have these new guides to fit in my head. They appear bullet nosed but I have no reference.
If these are not bullet nosed I was going to clamp them (gently) in my pedestal drill and touch them with a file.

Heres a photoImage
Thanks everyones

I forgot to mention, I am only going to do the inlets. I have pulled a few heads down and the ex guides have all been knackered. Plus it might help draw some of the heat away from the valve itself.....maybe?

Yes those are bullet nosed 1275 guides, you will find they are a few mm longer than the old 1098 ones you removed.
As you are using 1275 valves now I'd not shorten them, just fit them a bit higher in the head. I make them 16mm above in a 202 head with 1275 valves in.

OKie DOkie

Less work for me...yay

We had this valve discussion in PM doc,
we concluded 16-17mm above would be best.

thanks Kev
