Hi guys, I have these new guides to fit in my head. They appear bullet nosed but I have no reference. If these are not bullet nosed I was going to clamp them (gently) in my pedestal drill and touch them with a file. Heres a photo ![]() Thanks everyones I forgot to mention, I am only going to do the inlets. I have pulled a few heads down and the ex guides have all been knackered. Plus it might help draw some of the heat away from the valve itself.....maybe? |

Yes those are bullet nosed 1275 guides, you will find they are a few mm longer than the old 1098 ones you removed. As you are using 1275 valves now I'd not shorten them, just fit them a bit higher in the head. I make them 16mm above in a 202 head with 1275 valves in. |

OKie DOkie Less work for me...yay We had this valve discussion in PM doc, we concluded 16-17mm above would be best. thanks Kev |
