Hey Guys,
i have a '79 mini Clubman, flat nose one. its in pretty bad shape at the moment, but im planning to restore it and build it up for a bit of racing.

Im looking at the 1275cc motor as a replacement for the worn out motor thats in there, its either a 998 or 1100, not sure.

Am i going to have any major dramas with putting it in? ive done a few motor conversions before in later model stuff, but im pretty new to mini's. Any advice would be great!

Thanks,
Matt

hey mate welcome to ausmini, you wont have issues with swaping over the motor but you need to make sure you have other things up to scratch aswell ie. disk brakes. check all the vic roads guidlines and it'll give you a rough idea of what you have to do.
