Not sure if its been asked, saw a mini race car with a solid rear axle set up, using two motor bike coil overs. he said it works VERY well. can you use them in the front? just a question ![]() |

You'd probably have to modify the mounts though as the mini coilovers have the top mount offset to keep the normal shock geometry standard . Hard to describe but look at the top of the coilovers on ebay etc and you'll see . |

Yes, I have. I am looking at getting a set, thought I might be able to get away with using motor bike ones in the rear, and mini ones in the front. but looks like ill be getting a set. I think thats a really good price also. |

Motorcycle coil overs seem pretty pointless considering you couldn't even buy 2 suitable units for the price of the SPAX conversion. That and you can guarantee that the spring rate would be incorrect, not having been made with Minis in mind. ![]() |

dunno about the front because of engine weight but i know they work on a rear beam.. i have one in my race car.. dunno what they are off.. i think 1375 or whatever the coil kit costs is a little too much too.. shop around.. |
