 Post subject: Shiny fuel tanks

Ive seen some pictures of fueltanks and they are really shiny metalic colour, is this just paint or polished up or what ? Thanks

Possibly been re-made in stainless maybe , then polished or had stainless cover's made to go over them to add some bling bling effect.

I've always thought a pair of chrome fuel tanks would look awesome, but would be very expensive.

I once chromed my Triumph tiger fuel tank. Looks great but you gotta remember they fill it up with water to sink it in the tank. So you have to put the expensive anti rust coating-treatment in it straight away or you will end up with a sieve instead of a fuel tank.
