| Post subject: | Fuel pump problems |
Hey guys I just put a Facet pump on my car. I was just wondering what PSI should the regulator be set to?? At the moment i have it on 2 PSI and im finding that when i put my foot down i get a huge hesitation to pick up?? i have tried leaning the mixture but hasnt done a lot?? Cheers any help would be great |

Some of those regulators are not real accurate on the markings. Turn it up until problem goes away then mark it. Or borrow a gauge to see the pressure. I'd say 3psi should work. I run a Facet/TRW pump on both cars with no regulator. No problem either with the twin HS4s or the 45 Dellorto.

OK cheers I did connect it up to a gauge before i had the regulator on and it was getting up to 10PSI So i had to do something, its not acturely a FACET but a solid state anyway. |
