Looking good - that should really stiffen it up. Hope you don't have back problems or anything as you may find it difficult to get in and out of! |

Is that a totally bolt in solution or is that just until it's welded up? |

![]() Me too please, is that a Bonds roll cage? I also take it that this is not a street registered car and if it is a bonds I would be interested to know how much a half cage version would be. |

1018 - no problems with the back or getting in or out. It looks worse than it is. probably won't add a lot of stiffness as it is only bolted to 6 points on the floor smac - totally bolt in. the only welded parts are the plates at the bottom of the legs that spread the load. aaron, DRB33N, it is a Bond, although i got it from someone who used to frequent this forum, but then disappeared, so the price i paid was somewhat less than retail. I think they retail for around $1100 - 1200, but Stuartminidlx is probably better to ask for a price since he only got his recently. That might sound expensive, but the guy who welded the plates onto the rear legs for me will build you a very special multi point fully welded cage for around $4500-5000. He has recently done Greig Malure's and Peter Mousers cages, and they are fantastic. But those are real full time race cars, not like mine. and yes 1310/71, i do believe it is the real McCoy ![]() cheers michael |

Sorry - only saw the few pics of you welding and then went straight down to the finished thing. Didn't see that close up shot of the plate with the holes in it! |
