I swapped out my Pulsar dizzy for a 123 a few weeks ago. It starts up, idles and runs much more smoothly and for the first time since before owning the Hitachi, the power curve is where it should be. I was never able to get the engine to respond correctly with the Hitachi. It either had good low end power but knocked at high RPM or was hard starting and had no bottom end. The 123 is plug and play, and my car has never run better. |

Anyone tried the 123 with the sc12 supercharger kit? I wonder if it would work OK? or would the timing curve required be beyond the 123 |

From what I have searched and read,it looks like the 123ignition dizzy has a limitation on maximum revs.I'm still doing re-search ![]() |

The website indicates max revs at 7000rpm, but I wonder if the advance or curve requirements for running a supercharger would be outside what the 123 can handle http://www.123ignition.nl/brand/Mini.html |

I 'spose it'd be fine. As you want less total advance so you statically time it elss say 5 degrees BTDC instead of the more usual, N/A 10 degrees BTDC. I've done that with a Pulsar dizzy and it seems to work good. |
