hey mate what engine u got and is that all u have done to it, is head work... if so i would throw a stage one kit on it... which consists of, intake manifold, extractors, 1.75''exhaust, high flow air filter and a needle to suit. then i would go out and get a cam

Whilst we are waiting willy, aren't you going with an RE-13 cam for your new motor :?:

I've heard that the RE13 is a bit lumpy for round town and that the sw5 is the way to go for any road engine

Ive got a re13 in my 1330 and its great. Its a little fluffy down low but not bad but has a great rev range from about 2500rpm to about 6700rpm with double springs which makes for a good road car and a great weekend club car

266 is a good all rounder. pulls from down low and does well to about 6-6.5ish. all you need for a roady.

Cheers
Aaron

are you willing to sacrifice idling and the ability to drive in traffic for extra power or extra revs?

If its a 1100 I'd Give a 6/731 old road/rally cam as I did. I (well) the wifes daily drive is now a RE13.
its also got LCD worked head boarded out to to 1152 and a HIF44
Knocking on the 50hp door

I have a Coopers S MK2 Motor and it will also get a RE13 Cam
