Cheapest about are 73.5mm Hypatecs, from Minisport in SA. Russell Engineering has their own 73.5mm ones, similar to Hypatec but a better dish shape for power. These are both very good pistons. ![]() Both suppliers also have 73.0mm ones, if you want to keep the 73.5 bore size for next time. 73.0mm gives 1360cc. Karcraft sells Powermax 73.5 and Hypatec 73.0mm. |

I've heard of Mazda pistons being used. I'm not sure about Nissans but at $170 or so A SET with rings, I doubt you will beat the 73.0mm Hypatecs. ![]() http://www.minisport.com.au/prod27.htm <edit> the link says 1330cc but it's a typo. +.094" is 73.0mm, = 1360cc. |

Yep 20 thou over mazda 808 (or similar) are 73.5. Mine have a dish machined in. Don't know about any pin work sorry as these were done by previous owner. Agree with above - if I was replacing I'd buy mini pistons. |
