| Post subject: | 12" wheels with drum brakes? |
i know this may sound like a stupid question, but is it possible to run 12" wheels with drum brakes front and back? if so is it wise to do so? i have 10" wheels now and am looking to upgrade to 12's, i'm going to upgrade to disc brakes as soon as funds allow but just wanted some advice.. any help would be much appreciated

Yeah it'll be fine just remember, more force is require to stop bigger, heavier wheels than the lighter mass 10s. Unless you are going from steel to 'alloy' then it might be about the same. Go for it, no problem. |

I had 12s with drums all round without a problem until i upgraded to 8.4 discs, when i got a bit more power. As long as u drive within the cars and your own ability, i don't see the problem. |
