Post subject:  13x7 minilite wheels under standard moke guards

Hello,
Im fresh into the mini world and have my eyes set on a mini moke. The plan is to buy a moke and start working on it over the winter/colder months get it ready for summer bla bla bla...

My question is, will 13x7 performance minilites fit under standard mini moke guards/wheel arches? i would like the extra dish of the 13x7 over the 13x6 or x5.5 rim, but i dont want to go welding on extentions onto the guards (i feel it would look a bit off).

Any help ill make my nights sleep a better one :D

-thanks

13x7s come very close to the guard but still sit under.
Even with spacered drums on the rear they still sit under.

They are a very hot look on a Moke.

Search "Spiro" for some ideas.

Yer you won't have a problem on a "big wheel" Moke. Most Moke's are big wheel Moke's, so that shouldn't be a problem either.

Thanks for the compliments on Spiro :)

They will sit slightly out of the guards, i know, i got pinged for it in Spiro two days ago.

They will also scrub slightly on the rear shocks with hard cornering, not really a problem but worth mentioning..

Mokes can look good with anything up to 15 inch wheels under the guards.

My personal preference, however, is to see a Moke dropped low down over wiiiiide 10's.. just like this
