I would go a 1.5 or 1.75" SU on a good manifold.

well i have already got a HS4 on it with a 1.75'' exhaust system, KnN pancake filter. goes quiet good but im rebuilding it soon, as it is starting to blow oil out of the exhaust and it is going up the back of the car... im going to stay with the 1098 engine but when i rebuild it i will bore it out 40thou, stick a lumpy cam in it and a modified 202, or 295 head....... how much will it cost for that kind of build???? 8)

Depends on how much Hp you want.

Headwork will cost in the mid to high $100's depending on
1) how much hp you want (ie. how much flow bench testing you do and how much material you want to remove
2) how crap the one you have is now(new valves? double springs? acid dip?)
3) unleaded valve seats
4) who is doing the work

Block rebore will cost around $150
New pistons and rings about $200
Seals, gaskets, bearings, the good part of $600 to $1000 for parts only
Cam around $100 to regrind your existing
New cam lifters around $120
New water pump
New oil pump

Then you want to do some modifications... $75 - $90 her hour multiplied by HP wanting to gain dived by about 2 should give you a rough guide! :P 8)
