we will be very interested on how the new project goes.. but the story of your Cooper is so sad it nearly bought a tear to my eyes. as it was we were only looking at it a few days ago and having a family discussion about how good it looked. the upside is that you came away reasonably unscathed. good luck to you and your family this time.

Oil filter is in a fun place, for starters.

And the floor tunnel better be big to fit the tailshaft and the exhaust..

it's the oil filter - I'll have to do it from underneath with the exhaust undone, or take the carbs off or something..... the floor's gotta be widened a few inches, that's gonna be the hardest part of the build

Would it be possible to use a remote oil filter?

Other than the Exhaust and the tail shaft down the same tunnel and the oil filter..NICE fit into a Wet Front Subby..Whats above the Oil Filter (below the Carb

I hope U have a BFH for that tunnel :?

I think he'll need more than that- maybe a BF Plasma cutter... :P

it's a bracket for the standard honda air filter box - it's coming off just isn't in the way right now

Doc, a BF Plasma cutter would be sweet, but I reckon my angle grinder will do the job - poor little GMC is about dead after cutting up the subframe though - I don't think the duty cycle covers demolishing 3 cutting wheels one after the other, only turning it off to change the disc... just need more practise on this little welder I've got. I'll prolly end up tacking it all up and getting one of my fabricator mates to do it properly

nice project, make sure you keep us all updated on it.

are you going to be running the tailshaft and the exhaust through the cabin?
