Does that even fit in the mini engine bay Jed ? COuld be a good way of getting cold air into the carb by having it poke up through the bonnet though , where did you find it ?

Im not sure if itll fit :D, havent got it yet...in the post..
i found it on trademe, it only cost me 10 bucks!
then i thought oh, i wonder if its a-series, but ive played arround with the picture, and to scale, its a-series size.
but it lloks interestting, it would put the carb in kinda a cool place, esp with a trumpat on the end :D
if it dosent fit the mini, the morris can have it. i assume it to a stock bmc part, somone mentioned mastero(or however its spelt)1300 perhaps.

Very odd/interesting , not bad for $10.00 , open it out a bit and put 1 3/4" on it and a scoop in the bonnet ....

yes, maestro manifold,,,i have one here actually,,,the engines in those cars were fitted with a gearbox on the end of the donk (like a late jap fwd car) weired things , & not a mini type crank in them either,,,more like, but also not quite like, a nth/sth crank either, had their own unique crank with a huge thick big boss on the f/wheel end instead of the stub/snout like the mini ones. :-) & i believe they used a VW golf gearbox,,,how`s that guys & Gals ?????????

dam i know so much stuff it scares me :-)

hehehe, it just this moment turned up!
its a shame the carb faces the wrong way, itd be nice to have the carb in the dash!
dosent a long manifold give better torque?
heheheheheh

its actually quite nice looking for a bmc product, not as nic elooking as the lil alloy h2 jobbie for the minor/a40.
