Use a morry 1100 radiator. They are a bit bigger (longer at the front) and have no problem fitting in a clubby. Ya gotta bash the top tank a bit to make em fit in a roundie. |

I run a 2 core in Barney (1293A+) and a UK 3 core in my 1360 (with a `matic freshair heater). 2 core is not bad, but the UK rads are just not as well built as the Oz ones- My UK 3 core shook the front support off the top tank in 2 weeks. Oz ones have rivets there, but UK ones are just soldered. ![]() So, shortly I'll rip it out and fit a recored Oz one, with the tap in the bottom. Another thing wrong with UK ones... ![]() |

go to your local radiator guy and ask them to make up a 3core CT type core and fit it to your noraml tanks. shouldnt be much more than $200. great for modified raod cars as i have compared between uk 2core and a local 3 core and 3 core is much better. cooling area is the same but slows the water down more to allow it to cool on its way thru the radiator. |

what is the core, is it just an exspression or is it the sump looking thing on the top and bottom or the rad |

`core' is the actual radiator bit between top and bottom tanks, with fins across it and tubes thru it. ![]() |

If your talking about a daives craig pump not being small enough, they also make a elec controller to up or down the temp (it must up or down the flow). Now last time i looked the smallest pump they made was an 80L per minute pump, but now? Best bet is to either call them or check out the website i guess |

Yes I'm keen to keep with the SU's(1 3/4 set-up with Maniflow inlet manifold). I just like em ![]() |

nothing wrong with the standard setup, I like the plastic 16 blade fans, and use spacers to get the fan as close as possible to the radiator - I reckon that's the key to a cool running mini, if the fan is too far from the rad, you're pushing crap uphill from the start I did run an electric fan and clubman heater core in the engine bay on a couple of my previous cars, my cooper now doesn't get over 1/2 on the guage no matter what the conditions are, and it usually sits on the C mark - it's exactly as it came out of the factory except for the beefy motor ![]() |
