get some big tyres about four, i got some 17x9 ones from an old tyre yard, place them along the outer seams of the mini, tilt the mini up on its side. see threads in members pics section like weevans resto or nullabor express. |

I'll Agree I did my Van rear section with it in the Air and the front on the ground. It was a rite bugger of a job. Roll it But the Best way to clean it...Use a Heat Gun and Scraper then a couple of Twistlock Wire disc on a grinder. Do wear protection for your eye's and a mask and open a the doors while use the the heat Gun

I have heard of acid dipping shells that cleans everything but isnt cheap, am i right? |

yea also melts everything else..... only good idea if you strip everything completely - ec all wiring interior....... it will melt the sealer out of everthing and also the bog - makes a mess but the only way to do the job right the first time on another not i sand blasted mine off - took a little bit of time and a couple boxes of beer but better than scraping it off |

yea i would reccomend sandblasting tho - it still eats everything away but you dnt have to completely gut the body, gives you a fresh canvas to start from - but your panel beater bill will get bigger |

i would like to try and roll it so i can work on the side and not underneath plus its a bare shell so it doesnt need much to flip it over. i have got a sandblaster that i bought but its a crappy thing so i just use it on small things where i cant get into so ill have to got with the scraper. |

im having mine dry bead blasted... but then again im welding in a whole new floor front and back so it really doesnt matter if i blast holes

Try soaking a rag with kero, place the rag on the body sealer then cover with glad wrap. If you leave this for 3-5 days it'll wipe straight off. (bugger of a thing to get to hang upside down, I used lots of magnets) |

as mini k said get some old tyres and lay it over... what i did was use a sharp scraper and cleaned up with turps The underbody deadner has a bitumen base which turps just eats. Its messy but...scraper + turps + elbow grease. have fun though

Just beware of sandblasting , stick a small vacuum tube into the sill vents to get it all out , we had dad's done a few years ago when it was restored , I've just had to cut one sill off and replace it due to rust . We found the sill packed with sand from sandblasting between the front guard and the jacking point . It was holding water and eating it's way out through the sill and inner sill ..... |

yea went round it many times with an airline to blow it all out..... vacumed all the seams ect...... i had a problem with a customers truck that had been sandblasted and not cleaned right, was painting round the tool boxes in the back and blew up a sand storm!!! wasted hours of work and about 4 litres of paint lol |
