hey
i saw this hilux the other day, had a grill like those old yanky pick ups, the sort that have the the head lights stacked up on top of each other, but what really got me thinking was he had hot rod style lights, the sort that are just 1 inch little dot,
anyone know the people that make these sort of things,

Those are '39 Ford type tailights. I'd suggest that the round ones were '50 Pontiac tailights, which you can get as a repop at most hot rod stores. Interestingly, the originals were made of plastic....the repops are made of glass.

I would assume that fitting these lenses will probably void your insurance, unless you get them engineered/approved.

I could be wrong......

insurance compaines could refuse to pay in the event of an accident if the lights have been modified greatly. Their is a pretty grey area as to what is legal. If you were improving visibility of your tailights from all angles then I should see no problem.

that's rego and insurances greatest concern
