Please let me know how you get on because I would like to use the mini drive flanges on mine too.
If you machine the inside face of the rotor hat by about 4mm & file the steering knuckle and use the mini drive flange the rotor will fit but then you'll need either a calliper designed for that rotor position (perhaps KAD) or need to space back the calliper mounts with 8mm thick spacers.
Also make sure that people who tell you they're using mini drive flanges are really using mini drive flanges. The one below is a Metro one that has had the outside diamter machined down and the castellations machined off, so it looks like a mini one. The shaft nut is too far in though so it is definately a Metro one.
Here is a mini drive flange which shows the distance the nut sticks out. So you may want to ask those guys how far their nuts stick out.
