I have a 12g1316 in the garage and its also got another number 515 written on it does this mena anything?? |

Not really, it's probably the number of the casting mould used. For those who don't know, a 12G1316 is a so-called `smog' 1275 head with air injection ports. They were used here on 1275LS, and I think the 1275 Moke. Basically they are a 12G940 casting apart from these air ports. They make fine race heads too.
