Post subject:  Suspensions

Does anyone know what cars have wet suspension and what cars are dry? This would be a big help as im looking into buying a shell (clubman or roundy) and it would easier to have it dry. This is mainly to the fact i dont have easy access to a hydro pump and would prefer the adjustability of dry.

Thanks for your help.

I vote dry , mainly because I've always fiddled with my suspension and it's easier to adjust height with dry and work on the suspension without having to have a hydro pump . I know pumps are easy to make but most of my mini's have had dry suspension and it's what I'm comfortable with .

Don't quote me but Hydro cars included:

Mini Deluxe
Mini K
Mini Cooper S 8)
Early Clubman S's (before Leyland cost cutting :wink: )
Leyland Clubman GT 8)

After spending many a weeks measuring, remeasuring and finally this weekend correcting my alignment on Lillee, I must say she handles like a cat on carpet! I'd buy another Hydro car again :wink:

Rubber = go-kart

It's all I've ever had, but then you don't get the choice with mokes, estates & vans...

I have one wet and one dry, the wet one outhandles and outrides the dry one. 8)
I voted hydro.
So, expect Sydney's first hydro suspended `77 van to hit the street next year, 1412 A series powered. :lol:
