No you don't drain the oil.
Yes you should use a new gasket, and gasket cement..
The leak is 99% bound to be the front oil seal, so fit a new one.
Torque? ummmmm... VERY gentle on the small (1/4" UNF) ones...

Hi all Is it necessary to drain the oil to fix a timing cover oil leak? Is it necessary to use a gasket or can you just use three bond? What sort of torque is reqired on the bolts? Thanks for your replies |
