Post subject: | Smiths Electrical Temperature Gauge |
Hi Can someone help? I am fitting a Smiths electrical temp gauge to an A+ 1275. The gallery is approx 5/8. Does anybody know the correct Tridon or VDO sender unit to use? |

Should take the same sender unit as a standard clubman? GTR104 I think |

I don't think it's either, probably a Unipart item? |

Don't forget that you need the regulator thingy to change the voltage from 12 to 10V, otherwise the gauge will read high Minimad |

Minimad Not all Smiths gauges were 10V, the common aftermarket ones were 12V. My bro' fitted them to his Imp, they read fine with 12V supply. |
