Well well well. I have recently acquired a set of toyo-mini rockers from the good doctor for my 1330 build. Tonight however I did the deed and whacked them onto the 1152cc.

For those who don't know, the specs of this engine internally are vague but I do know that it's:

1152cc
12G295 Graham Russel race ported head, double springs, big ports that I won as a door prize 8)
Feeding that is a GR ported redline on a Dellorto 45 with 34mm chokes and a Lynx Ramflo with Unifilter element
Exhaust is just a Perry 3in1 into 1 3/4" RC40 (I think) although I do have lcbs sitting on the shelf, I couldn't be bothered putting them on
Pulsar 4DR83 dissy

We suspect the cam is a 266 road cam of some description.

Anyway last dyno the timing was out by about 7-8 degrees and got 41bhp atw.

Today I threw in the 1.5 rockers and BOY the performance difference is huge! It's like changing cam profiles! Idle is very civilised, down low she has lost abit of torque and power but at about 2700 or so, she lets fly! All the way to 6000 and she wants more! The urge is completely different from before I can't believe it.

Maybe that is what was holding my down all this time??

I REALLY need new tyres now

They certainly do William! So much louder! She's furious taking off, I'll eat my hat if I don't have more than 45bhp atw 8)

Now I am thinking about putting on my maniflow lcbs too hmmm

EDIT: plus I have a 4DR85 too :P

Naah I think the RE13 makes more. If i threw in an RE13 Lillee would go even harder due to cam duration and optimum valve overlap which the rockers don't do.

OK OK! Tyres next i promise!  But seriously the bald falken copies do ok in the dry :P
