Post subject:  Please help identify my crank & rods.
I've got the Cooper S motor for sale and have separated the engine from gear box. The rods have AEG145 on the caps and AMK on the beam. What are they?
The crank has been wedged and lightened, I can't see any identification marks on it. Where are they usually marked? How can I tell what it is if the numbers have been removed with the surplus metal??

The oil pipe, distributor and dodgy plug are just spares I stuck on to fill holes while I degreased the outside.

They are small journal 1275cc (1100"s") type crank & rods

basically the same rods as Cooper "S" tho,,,just they never got the factory "S" balancing that the "S" ones did, if you get my drift, same part numbers tho,very same items really.
