ok, im gonig to fit a f/g one piece front onto one of my minis.

is it best to remove the inner gards and fit brace bars? or keep them there?

best way to remove the outer gards?

Removing the inner guards helps when u need to change the engine mounts or radiator..... but it will let road grime and water from your wheels get onto the engine...

Ive seen cars with and without the inner guards, and personally think they look better without.

Make sure the flip front is a LEGAL conversion first, or your car might end up becoming a permament race car if defected....

in that case ditch the inner guards. fitting a flip front to a race car is all about engine access anyway, and since it is for racing, you don't need the weight!
