Umm anyone know the thread of the bolts that attach the dellorto to the manifold? I got one of those crap house redline 3005 maniflds.. worst casting I've ever seen in my life. Got a linkage kit aswell, you'd think $100 for a linkage kit, and you would at least get the bolts/studs that attach the carby to the manifold.. Anyway yeah where can I get these? |

I'm sure you can get them at the same shop as you got the manifold and linkage kit.. the 4 bolts will probably cost you around $50 each. |

Cool h0nk, thanks for your help.. The place is only a 40min drive, and $50 per bolt sounds terrific.. absolute bargain. |

Alex, Threads are 5/16 UNC or Whitworth?, either will fit in there, thread pitch is the same. I use the Champion brand UNC ones from Supercrap etc, they are OK. I bolt Dellortos on with a stock gasket and have never had a foaming/flooding problem. But, if you are running a soft mount kit (essential for a Weber DCOE, optional with Dellorto DHLA) you want studs and nyloc nuts. ![]() |

Thanks Kev, I had some spare 5/16" UNF bolts which I tried, but they started to burr the thread.. I'll go grab some UNC's tomorrow. I'm just going to use gaskets aswell, not the soft mount kit.. cheers. |
