Hi there guys, have got hold of a DHLA40, and need to find parts for it, ie emiltion tubes etc.
Tried to get them up here (NE WA) but was told that they couldnt get anything and to try and find them on the net. So I thought I would try this first
Im only after the emulsion tubes, air jets, main jets, so I must be able to buy them somewhere
Can anyone help? :?

You can get those parts from Carburettor Service Co, 240 Parramatta Rd Burwood (Sydney).

Or you can buy from Eurocarb in UK like I do.
www.dellorto.co.uk

Or, there is a guy out here represents Eurocarb in UK.

If Eurocarb are hesitant about supplying direct (it has happened to some people here) see the Veloce Italia dude I posted above.

If you guys are still around, I had a look on here and it was posted to use
7772.5 or 7772.6 emultion tubes
180 air jets
135 or 140 main jets
(already has 55 idles, 33 chokes and .3 butterflies)
Am I right in thinking that the higher the no the more fuel will be getting through?
I plan to use this on an 1100 motor (just what I have) so will it make much difference as to which ones I get?
Thanks Cliff

180 or 190 air correctors are pretty good, 33 chokes are gooders(1 either side is good too), 40 or 45 pump jets and 7772.5 or 6 emulsion tubes(.5's are better) and you should be good to go.

The numbers are not that important - I will look up some facts for you about lean to rich on the emulsion tubes.

Good luck with whatever way you go - get a rolling road done as well to fine tune the set-up.

Doc

I spoke to these people last year and they no longer carry any bits, Eurocarb are the go and it only takes a couple of days to get bits from the UK :D

Thanks for that, someone here tried to buy direct a while ago and Eurocarb said see our rep in Oz..
But Cody got Dello bits in from Eurocarb a week or 2 back. They take about a week, and postage is usually ?2.95. Good service.8)

I'd import.. for the parts that you listed to buy them locally would cost you over $100, I can garantee that.
