Depends what rev range you would like your power band to be in...... You know that EVERYBODY will say "get an RE-13" dont you ![]() Ive had a 544 cam (290 degree duration) made for mine..... cost about $150 or thereabouts to have a stocky reground to that spec. SO.... your mini1000 has been bored out +.060 huh????????? Cheater ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Track and road use, get a pretty wild cam if you like to drive and keep the engine in the poweband, RE-13 is great...a RE-282 might even be a little big for a small block...You'll make much more power than with a stock cam ![]() |

Depends what you want, give him a call and discuss your needs. an RE-13 will give you less power below 2700rpm, but much more all the way up to about 7 or 8000 An RE-282 will shift the power band up even higher 3000-8000+ etc.. Just depends how wild you want to go, if you can tolerate it driving it on the road and how much power you want on the track. |
