Just reading the other post re. security etc. I was very seriously considering installing door popppers for security reasons and also with my clubby you can only lock the doors from the outside far as I know so if I had a passenger I gotta shut my door, lock it go round the other side n lock that door too sounds like a real hassle - also if my keys scratched the paint over time id be real pissed. Given whether or not that they are fittable to a mini, Are they really illegal? Unsafe? any help would be much appreciated I just dont know what the right thing to do is......
Trixi.

i would buy em, then smooth out the door holes, i recon it would bea big job, i think its illegal if you dont have a handle, incase of crashes

as long as you have a manual entry point (i use a rod on the top of my door...) it is legal, i have done this t about 8 cars, then just welded plates into the handle holes...
