every time i race my moke around a left hand bend, the car suffers from fuel starvation. if i go really really fast around a corner it almost cuts out. i have never had this problem on any of my other minis. i understand the reason why it happens but i was wondering if there is any one that can tell me a way to fix this.

Check your float level, maybe it's too low.

quite often people have the wrong float lid on their carbs,,,the pivot pin for the float should reside basically almost straight across/side ways,,,so the float pivots forwards not sideways

know what i mean?, check it to see where the pivot is, you may need to change the lid to another or at least re-position it

or, as the good doc says, maybe too low a level setting

:-)

thats a fuel surge, my car does it under super hard braking, i think its something to do with the needle being wrong, not much help but im pretty sure thats what it is
