ok... ...I've got my Nissan distributor and my Sigma (Bosch) alternator, what other makes' bits are useable? I see references to Holden bits and possible Pulsar alternators in the Pulsar dizzy thread. - more info pls! Apart from the obvious BL/BMC/MOWOG bits - duh! ![]() I'm always on the lookout for parts and spares etc, and the Toowoomba swap meet is this weekend... ...two days of car parts and heatstroke - woohoo! |

Cappuccino engine is a 3cyl 660cc twin cam engine. Can be made to go VERY fast with new bigger turbo and manifold, exhaust & air filter. I used to own one and could beat HSV R8's, although once you get over 120 they start to fly by as the engine starts to run out of puff |

I wonder if the cappucino turbo engine makes for a viable conversion for the mini..? Any thoughts Doc? |

Well it would fit in I'm pretty sure, but don't expect any torque from it. You have to spin it hard to make it GO. And a Mini is heavier than the Mighty Boy, which probably weighs only 500Kg dripping wet. ![]() Here's a pic, courtesy of twincammini... ![]() |
