Anyone completed this before? If so would you be so kind as to put some pics up?
I've created the template out of MDF and i'm going to start fibreglassing this afternoon. Any handy hints?

Can you post a pic of what you've done? I'm very interested in anything dash related that people do. If you don't know how to post pics there's a how to section about picture posting or you could email them to me fat_sim at hotmail.com

i think once you have the template you've pretty much heading downhill till you reach bogging/filling/sanding. glue/staple on some stretchy cloth over your template and then start fiberglassin from the back. add a layer of resin followed by fiberglass mat then repeat till you have it strong (not exactly sure but id say 3 layers would suffice). be sure not to fiberglass any parts where you want guages or whatever (just cut the stretchy cloth once your finished). then just bog/fill and sand to your hearts content till its smooth and shaped and cover with vinyl or paint.

ps dont take this as gospel :P just a guide

Yeah i plan to put some pics up i've just gotta find my charger for my camera =)
All i'm doing currently is creating a panel that sits in between (like the dash of colors)
Once i'm confident that I can actually do this i'll create one for the whole dash, replacing both top and bottom rail covers (not the metal).
