is this a brake booster or something?

it seems that i have to remove it in order to get the front subframe out...is this the case?

yer thats the horn, my deluxes one is there too, thats the only mini that has em there i think, the rest are on the other side on the inner guard to my knoledge, but yer, just a horn

BMC carefully positioned it there to make it bloody near impossible to get the oil filter out. Without spilling it. :lol:
I guess at least it doesn't crack the bodywork and fall off, like Clubby ones- including ours did. :wink:

was a bit surprised...especially since the passenger side brake lines go right under it...hence why i thought it was a brake booster or something...do i just undo the nut ontop? or is there some other way of getting it off?

its attched to the subframe underneath..nut and bolt

get the jack and axle stands out :wink:

Hi

Just get a 7/16 socket (1/4" drive is best with a 2" extension.) into the spce under the lip of the subframe to hold the nuts, then use a 7/16" spanner to turn the bolt on the outside of the subframe and the whole thing lifts away. (2 bolts in the horizontal plane)
