is this a brake booster or something? http://imagestore.ugbox.net/aview/eedb2 ... f47fbaa17e it seems that i have to remove it in order to get the front subframe out...is this the case? |

yer thats the horn, my deluxes one is there too, thats the only mini that has em there i think, the rest are on the other side on the inner guard to my knoledge, but yer, just a horn |

BMC carefully positioned it there to make it bloody near impossible to get the oil filter out. Without spilling it. ![]() I guess at least it doesn't crack the bodywork and fall off, like Clubby ones- including ours did. ![]() |

was a bit surprised...especially since the passenger side brake lines go right under it...hence why i thought it was a brake booster or something...do i just undo the nut ontop? or is there some other way of getting it off? |

its attched to the subframe underneath..nut and bolt get the jack and axle stands out ![]() |

Hi Just get a 7/16 socket (1/4" drive is best with a 2" extension.) into the spce under the lip of the subframe to hold the nuts, then use a 7/16" spanner to turn the bolt on the outside of the subframe and the whole thing lifts away. (2 bolts in the horizontal plane) Matt |
