Just in the process of stripping my old 848, all the crank main bearing bolts come out nicely and i could reach all but two of the big end bolts. And then the hammering began hehehe iv'e got no 2 and 3 to move about 1cm in an attempt to gain access to the other two big end bolts. No 1 and 4 ard moving up easy enough but no. 3 and 4 are tight as, i put a hole in one and now i've given up for the night, it can sit for a while with a load of WD40 in it and i'll try agina in the morn....

This baby is gonna need a rebore for sure hehehe
