Hitachi made SUs under licence?, they were used on the Datsun 240Z etc... also 180B SSS I think..
Work & look pretty much like an SU, dunno if needles fit, or not.

Hi does anybody know if these can be used on a mini as in are the needles interchangable between these and su's Because these carbies are cheap and redily available any help or info would be great cheers harley |

sound like motorcycle carbies to me. operate slightly different to the SU and the needles/jets are set up according to motorcycle engine size. |

Thanks Kev but i was hoping you would know but it doesn't matter 
Just thought they would be good for people after 1.5" SU's(twins) as i saw a pair go the other day for $80
