well i was sick of the mirror my car came with had not a very good veiw and didnt look that crash hot eaither. So i purchased a bullet mirror to replace it but the veiw was worse and it was quite hard to fit aswell. Then i saw antons mini with the rover mini mirrors and they had a good veiw , very modern looking and an easy fitment.

the rover mini mirrors come in lots of colours and can be bought new. i purchased mine off ebay.uk and were here within a week. they are much cheaper than bullet mirrors and mine came to about $75aus including postage from uk. The mirrors can also be bought from northan mini parts im pretty sure.

You will need a ruler a pencil and i used 14gx16mm screws with 3/16'' flat washers to hold the mirrors on. For the 12g screws a 5mm metal drill bit will give you the right holes in the door. Place the mirror on where you want it and mark with a pecil throught the holes in the mirror. Then drill the holes screw in the mirror and that side is done. Measure where the mirror is so that u can make sure the other side is the same and repeat for the other side.

the end result is you have great looking mirrors for quite cheap excellent veiw and a more modern look.
here are some pics my mirrors are just the plain black ones of a mini mayfair although you can get coloured ones to match your car
