I have a 1/2" lobe camshaft but it has some rust damage and looks as though it needs to have its journals reground otherwise it is scrap. Does anyone know if they make undersize 1275 camshaft bearings?
Otherwise i will have to find another 1/2" lobe cam or will GR do a surcharge arrangement?

thanks

You can get .010" undersize bearings, I did it once for the same reason, but I would suggest you don't go there. Any cam you choose to fit in future would also need grinding .010". PITA.. :x
Just ask here for another cam- is it pin or star drive?

Very good point about future cams kev, hadnt thought of that one. It is a star drive but i havent bought a new pump yet so im not too fussed either way... unless it involves drilling and tapping new threads.

Anyone got a 1/2" lobe camshaft they are willing to part with? (with sufficient meat left for an re-13 regrind)
