is the wiring long enough to throw the shift light in the engine bay. Now that would be cool. Ha ha. Actually thats not a bad idea.

"WHADDAYAMEAN police officer..? THere is no flashing light under my bonnet when I am driving...."

you seem pretty good with the fabrication side of things..... why dont you make your own end cap with mini wriiten into it...? then mount it behind the car so its throws a mini logo out on the ground everytime you thrash past someone?? 8)

Ben......... looking very good, can't wait to see the finished product. Can't wait to see the mini finished as well, cos if the time taken to do the dash is any indication, the car as a whole is going to be outstanding

i hope so :D it should be good, also i noticed that my dash wil only fit my clubby properly, as i tried to it it to the test mule ls for final incar glassing and it doesnt line up perfecty, as in my shell, so dont think of flogging it , cos it wont fit ;)

well guys its been ages since an update on the dash. all fibreglassing is done and final filling before painting is underway. i have decided to tackle the wiring without the aid of a wiring diagram...... (insert instant headache here )...... to assist me i have made a frame to support the wiring loom and to earth it out on ( 5 earth points on one loom ) so far i have traced all light wires, most dash lights, gauges, and other accessory wires such as heater cd player cig lighter etc. more pics to follow.

Mucho more prep to make it look schmick anyway. Vinyl is cool coz it hides plenty of sins 8) Not as much as carpet but that would look kinda spastic on the dash

I am with doc trim on this one, though with all the curves on that dash I don't think the vinyl job is going to be a walk in the park either. Good luck whatever you end up doing
